Precautions for installation of transfer window in clean room

Combined with the code for clean room construction (GB 50591) and site construction experience, the core of transmission window installation is to seal without air leakage, not to destroy the cleanliness level, not to mess up the pressure difference, and to be reliable in disinfection.

First, the preliminary preparation

Location and wall

It must be installed on a clean enclosure color steel plate, and it is forbidden to install it on a civil brick wall without sealing.

The opening size is 10 ~ 20 mm larger than the outer frame of the transmission window, which is convenient for adjustment and glue sealing.

Avoid keel, beam column and pipeline, and ensure that there is operating space around the transfer window.

Selection and matching

According to the cleanliness level: general mechanical interlock/electronic interlock/air shower transfer window.

The area with clean pressure difference must be interlocked, and it is forbidden to open both sides at the same time.

Second, the key points of installation

Horizontal and fixed

It must be installed horizontally, and tilting will lead to poor sealing and interlock failure.

Fix it firmly with brackets or embedded parts, and do not rely solely on colored steel plates for bearing.

Sealing (most important)

The gap between the transmission window and the color steel plate is fully filled with neutral silicone weather-resistant sealant, and the inner and outer sides are glued.

Glue joint is smooth and continuous, without bubbles, cracks and holes to prevent leakage and dust accumulation.

The sealing strip of the door frame is complete and undamaged, and it fits tightly after closing.

Electrical and disinfection

The ultraviolet lamp, fan and interlock power supply are wired separately and are not mixed with other circuits.

The line is sealed through the pipe, and the open wire is not allowed to be exposed in the clean area.

The ultraviolet lamp is located in a reasonable position, which can irradiate the inside of the transfer cavity and avoid dead corners.

Air shower transfer window

The air ducts shall be tightly connected, and the wind speed and air volume shall meet the standards.

Do leak detection after installation of high efficiency filter to ensure no leakage.

Third, clean area and pressure difference control

The transfer window cannot destroy the direction of room pressure difference, and the pressure gradient from high clean area to low clean area remains unchanged.

Check the air leakage at the door after installation: there should be no obvious air flow sound after closing the door.

It is strictly forbidden to make the clean area and non-clean area through the opening of the transfer window.

Fourth, debugging and acceptance

Test interlock function: when one side door is opened, the other side must be locked.

The opening and closing doors are smooth and sound-free, and the locks are reliable.

The ultraviolet lamp, lighting and fan are operating normally.

Appearance without scratches and dust grooves, easy to clean.

The sealant around is complete, and air leakage inspection shall be made.

Five, taboo and common mistakes

Failure to glue or use acid glue leads to corrosion, cracking and air leakage.

The transmission window is installed obliquely, and the door seal is invalid.

Interlocking transfer windows are not needed, resulting in cross-contamination.

If the opening is too large, it will not be blocked and become the main air leakage point of the clean room.

The wires are exposed and do not pass through the pipe, which does not conform to the cleaning standard.
